The book tells the story of Iaiá, a big-hearted girl who lives in a small village in Ceará. This moving tale explores the impact of plastic through a beautiful and playful journey to the ocean floor. It highlights a powerful movement for change and awareness in partnership with the NGO Nossa Iracema and the Maré de Ciência project from UNIFESP (Baixada Santista Campus), which promotes Marine Sciences within the context of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, aligned with the UN’s Decade of Ocean Science.

For every book sold, Catavento will donate R$ 1.00 to the NGO Nossa Iracema, based in Fortaleza, Ceará.
